For the past 19 years I have operated Becky Cooper Photography and of those years, 5 of them as an award-winning destination wedding photographer in New Orleans. I've watched stunning destination brides walk down aisles to their teary-eyed grooms, paraded down the streets of the French Quarter in their second lines and photographed receptions that can only be thrown true Nola style. Then an unwelcome visitor named COVID arrived and shut the French Quarter of New Orleans down. Being shut down almost a year, I was forced to contemplate the next chapter of my life and how I could combine my love of Nola weddings, my photography and the beautiful architecture and history of the city that I adore so much. And hence, A Touch of Nola was born. Because of my compassion for the destination brides planning to marry here, I understand the obstacles and stress of planning a wedding from far away. I saw the love that couples have for our dear Nola and that very love inspired me to create these beautiful pieces and products as a way to remember an unforgettable wedding experience in New Orleans.
